Vacation

I have been on vacation this week! I am sweating it out in NJ. Its only been in the 80's but the humidity is rediculous. They say you get used to it... great. On Sunday we had dinner at WK's parents house, and Monday we went to see WK's grandparents up in PA. They are both doing fairly well. On the way home we decided to tour Lancaster and see the Amish countryside (ok, Amish shops). Beautiful furnishings to be had, but for a pretty penny.

Click on the wagon picture to see it enlarged, the kids in the back were so cute.

Then we got lost on the way home. Well, maybe not lost, but we went the looooong way. WK and I have been having a blast together. Tomorrow Firechick and I are going to try to hit the beach. Its only 30 min away. The jury is still out on which coast has better beaches. They do have a cool boardwalk out here though...

Not a fair determinant from that "jury" unless they consider the sugary white beaches of the Northern Gulf Coast with it's warm turquoise water as opposed to the muddy colored sand and coooooold murkey water of the Atlantic, or the abrasive volcanic sand and even cooooolder Pacific.

You can tell I'm biased can't you?

Love the pic of the Amish wagon. That sight is becoming a common occurance around where I live. A big group of amish people moved into the next town over. It is really funny to see these little 10 year old kids driving the wagons on the side of the road. They are sooooo cute....
Speaking of cute... That guy in the pic with you is a hottie.

Did you try "Good n Plenty" an all you can eat restaurant east of Lancaster city? Atlantic water is sooooo cold and gray. Sand is hot, hot and hotter. Pacific is bluer and somewhat gentler on the feet. Best beach, water and sand, is Bermuda, with Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii a close second.
