A feeble attempt to keep my family and friends informed of my daily life as I dash to and fro.

HOT!!!!
I walked out of work this afternoon and the temp gauge on my car read 122. After 20 minutes of blasting the A/C it dropped ALL the way down to the outside temp of 116. Yes, I made a conscious decision to move here. And people say mankind has evolved...
You should see the parking lot at Farmer's in the morning...every car exactly positioned to catch the shadow of the nearest tree in the afternoon. I park behind. I can see my car and the building is more efficient than a skimpy tree.
Is it muggy out there too? I was checking air conditioning performance today and it was 106 inside the shop. Then, it rained! I thought my clean up boy had done a terrible job washing my truck, then I realized that the mess was from the huge, dust-filled rain drops.
If you would like to add a link on your site, my website is http://philsautoteacher.tripod.com. Most of it is for Spanish speaking students of the Bible but I have some school stuff and family stuff there too.
I am a Southern CA girl who is moving to Southern NJ for the man I love. I'm embarking on a new journey~ getting married, leaving my family and friends, moving across the country, setting up a home and hopefully finding a new job.
I am a former 911/Police/
Fire dispatcher and have the utmost respect for all of you who wear the headset. I miss the job like crazy and hope to go back.
I am now an auntie times 2 and thank the Lord for richly blessing my life and my family.

Hey! No fair using my name! :) have to protect the anonymity of myself, my agency, and the idiots we cater to etc.
Are you baking or what? I heard CA got up to 126 degrees yesterday! Jailgy says the earth is melting there!
I'm thankful I sleep during the day! I don't have to go outside in the squeltering heat.
