I finally have living room curtains! Gone are the plastic vertical blinds. It took a week or two to find the right color combination. I would buy them all over town, bring them home and pin them to the wall so Hubby could see what I was 'seeing in my head'. Then back to the store they would go if he didn't like them. Finally I think we found a winner. It looks so much more 'home-y' now!

Hey that's great! I finally got to get rid of my ugly vertical blinds in my living room. My husband finally let me get new shades after 4 years!
He actually cared what color they were? That's amazing. Shawn would only care if they were pink or floral, or super girlie.
The important part is that you were able to coordinate with the Egyptian painting and not clash with the entertainment center!:-D I'm thinking that those curtains will set off the new dinning room chandelier too... that did get installed, right? :-)
